Flights to the Brazilian city of Salvador de Bahia are being restarted from London Gatwick. Spanish airline Air Europa will operate three flights a week to Salvador via Madrid from November 3.
A Boeing 767 will operate the route, offering a two class configuration of economy and business class seats.
Prices from London to Salvador de Bahia start at £607 return including taxes. Air Europa also provides connections via Madrid to a host of other destinations in South America and the Caribbean including Havana, Buenos Aires, Caracas, Cancun, Punta Cana and Santo Domingo.
Air Europa UK general manager, Colin Stewart, said: “Air Europa is fast becoming known as a South American specialist airline.”
